If the word "sighted" is brought up in a "DBT" discussion, it's wrong.....

Real DBTs, the "double blind" implies that neither the individual conducting the test nor the individual evaluating the product know whether the test item or a placebo is being evaluated. (The "double" implies two people, the individual conducting the test shouldn't know either, because "bias" can affect how the product or placebo is being administered, which in itself can "skew" results.) But the product could be very visible (which is why "sighted" is irrelevant in real DBT)..... Whether it's an audio component, consumer product, or medical device......
