+1...You'd think a rockstar never said stupid stuff before...

Is the article linked by the op a sleazy hit piece prompted by cancel culture? The hate people direct toward Clapton is relentless. Sure...a lot of his music is throw-away, he did go on a drunken stage rant condemning black immigration, he complained about the Astra Zeneca vaccine AFTER he got it, and he made a stupid antilockdown song with Van Morrison. Is this really how we are going to define this man in the grand scheme of things?

Yes...I think the article linked by the op is a sleazy hit piece and it's author should be condemned.

It reeks of "hey boomer" attitude.
