That a given CD or LP is produced in one or the other polarity but not always the same is nothing new. That's what this whole discussion is about. But making assumptions about where the "mistake" was made in the production process is pure speculation on your part and frankly unimportant now that the "damage" has been done and the finished product is upon us.
Your compliation "test" proves nothing except the that first track which you used as the "polarity standard" for the remaining 33 was obviously in proper polarity with your system when you listened to the entire CD. Good work, really.
