Louis' duplicator *may* be virtually identical to much cheaper units, I would have thought it'd be automatic for someone like Bob Neil (or others at PF) who published a favorable review to do a followup comparing RC to the cheaper unit(s), with and without Mr. Louis' fluids. But Bob seemed to blow off this idea when I brought it up on Critics. In fact, it seemed he was somewhat pissed off that I thought a followup was called for.I certainly meant no criticism of Bob for his favorable review, nor was I ridiculing any RC adherents or convicting Mr. Louis of fraud or gouging. In fact I was interested in the possibility of employing RC on the master of a cd I'm putting out. But IMO a followup comparison is warranted. Maybe an inmate with more $$ than I have will check it out.
