General audio topics that don't fit into specific categories.

The test consumed 19 solid pages of text, charts, and sine wave photos

It was too lengthy for summarization. No summary was given (you were expected to read the whole thing). It was indeed double blind. Though somewhat primitive and overly broad (19 amplifiers), it was a respectable effort. How they managed to arrive at the Phase 400 as the best of the lot (sorry, Feanor) is dumbfounding to me, but that's what happened. There is no indication of how many members of the listening panel favored which amplifiers and to what extent.

There is no reason to believe that the listening skills of the panel were any better or worse than that of any other given group of experienced listeners. They spoke as "we," not admitting to disagreement, though there must have been some. They ranked the amps in five categories, from worst to best (the Phase 400). They were all solid state amps except for two from Audio Research, which came in second, behind the phase 400.
