After months of hearing golden ears comdemn DBTs apparently because they failed to detect amp differences, I naively assumed that they would be please to hear of a successful DBT. Judging by the responses here, I was pretty stupid thinking that.No indeed, for reasons you point out, DBTs aren't going to catch on with audiophiles. The successful DBT is as disturbing and the failed one.
