Do you prefer accuracy? I'm not sure I do - in fact, until I recently heard a really good SS amp, I would say I didn't. Furthermore, based on measurements I saw, the system that I use as my basis for accuracy sounded pretty bad, even with good recordings. It wasn't that I purposely try to add "euphony" or anything like that but I try to base my system on my own concept of "live" sound. And the measurably accurate system didn't cut it... although it may very well have been faithful to the recording. Perhaps the recordings aren't as faithful to the original event as we like to think.This question isn't terribly meaningful - just curious.
