In Reply to: I read your post and I thought about your post -- This sounds like a non-science (nonsense) test to me posted by Richard BassNut Greene on December 28, 2005 at 10:01:05:
In particular, there no statistical analysis of trials and "right" answer. And yes, the article strongly implied that all testers hear differences among all the amps and that there was a strong consensus as to what these differences were for particular amps. (Note that the stated objective of the test when well beyond proving that differences existing, but also to define the differences as specifically as possible.)Reading the magazine article might dispell some of your issues but likely not all. I suspect it would be a violation of copywrite, otherwise I would be please to send you a photocopies.
