Back when those were new I tried a brand new GAS Ampzilla on my Koss electrostatic speakers. Maybe it just didn't like the tough load the ESLs presented but it was by far the worst sounding amp out of more than a dozen I tried with those speakers. It was harsh, glary and to me not listenable. The second worst sounding amp on those speakers that I tried was a Crown DC300. I ended up using modded Dyna 400s (one per speaker) and later modded Dyna MKIII's (2 per speaker). Used a Audio Research SP6 as the preamp....
