You're saying that the Phase 400 was the least lousy of all the amps tested? I happen to have that issue of Sound Advice, BTW, and the Ampzilla was in the LOWEST rated category ("wiry, edgy, brittle highs ... etc."). All in all, it was a surpassingly dumb test, IMHO, and demonstrated only how far off a bunch of distressingly tin-eared audiophiles could get in the perceived interests of "scientific testing."
