In the first place, the gentleman asked for opinions and I gave him mine. Are you criticizing me for my opinion, or for the fact that I was so forceful? I see others gave their opinions without flames. Difficult to understand.Also, my final sentence was "That's a no brainer. Listen for yourself." Any one care to dispute that statement?
Another also, someone mentioned that the sound of the Plinius in a particular system was "dry". Okay, what is dry to one person may be "wet" to another. Hey, the guy may like the dry sound. Are you presuming that because you don't like it, he shouldn't either?
Everyone who criticized me did so because the Plinius didn't sound as good as this or that amp. Hold on! Who didn't it sound as good to? You! So what!! Understand, not everyone likes the same sound (or even hears for that matter) as you. One man's filet is another man's poison; one man's junk is another man's treasure; .......well, you get it. I believe it is deceiving, and wrong, to assume that everyone will experience the same aural pleasure (or displeasure) from the same component(s). Just ain't so! Hence....That's a no brainer. Listen for yourself.
Oh yeh, the Plinius IS a better amp than all those mentioned!!!
