Thanks for the information -- I will try what you suggested to see if I get the same results -- my pre-correction curve is very similar to the one you describe.By the way, I am not talking about bass or loudness. Microdynamics is the ability of a component to get from loud to soft to loud in a hurry, not its absolute dynamics -- the results suggest whether the energy applied to individual instruments is effectively communicated. It's not a quality easily surrendered. Tuning in more bass does not restore it.
