This discussion brings up an interesting question: When we listen to live music, the natural sound we hear is always influenced by the environment in which the music is played. Therefore, the "natural" or "realistic" sound of music includes an acoustical response from the environment. When we "correct" to eliminate this response, don't we also lose elements inherent within the natural sound of music? The environment does "exaggerate" dynamics, but isn't that what music sounds like?
