I'm not using a TacT RCS 2.0, but did recently install an Accuphase DG-28 6th-octave Digital Voicing Equalizer in my system. I also initially noticed a slight reduction in apparent dynamics. However, I strongly suspect that what is really going on is that the correction of the narrow peaks and dips in the frequency response is eliminating a FALSE sense of microdynamic contrasts during music playback. I have also found that I can play music significantly louder (maybe +3 to +5 dB, as indicated on the meters on my power amp) without any discomfort, "ear burn", bass boom, or listening fatigue. Basically, I find that the music sounds less "hi fi" and much more natural and organic with the DG-28 in the circuit. Definitely an improvement, IMO. Good listening -- Dave
