Re: I'm sorry, but this is hilarious

Funny how people argue the same line from opposite ends. One guy tells you transistors are too non linear to produce amplifiers which are undistorted without feedback while another tells you a slew of amplifiers which have distortion levels from .001% all the way to almost 0.1% at 200 watts per channel have no feedback. The amplifiers cited by morricab must undoubtedly have feedback to achieve such low distortion. Even transistors, inherently linear as they are cannot get that linear without feedback. Of the ones I looked at on their websites, the only one which made a statement about feedback that I could find was Threshold which claims "minimal feedback" whatever that means.

They are all class AB solid state designs although the classe' model has a low power transition to class A operation.

The fact that you are a moderator on another board shows me just how pathetically far that board must have gone downhill. Too bad, it was once a place for lots of interesting discussions and debates. Now it is an intellectual playpen for beginners who are looking for the cheapest AV setup trying to decide between Best Buy and Costco.
