Right what I meant to write was -
"Sure more amplifier differences will be heard with an accurate speaker - but the degree they (the differences) effect listening will be different than with an inaccurate speaker"

I don't have it backwards at all. This is much closer to what I'm saying than your original comments that I objected to. But no matter how you cut it the speaker that is the most accurate will rarely be the one that's heard as being the most obviously revealing* - that honor will go to a speaker possessing a greater degree of coloration.

*I want to say unless one counts the total revelations not the degree of them - but even that's not for sure as it's possible that differences may not rise to the level of audibility with the more accurate speaker.
