Every time I've heard their equipment (especially the omnidirectional speakers) at shows, I'm always impressed. Doesn't matter whether it's their big system or their smaller system, their stuff has always sounded great to me.
And the FIRST time I was bowled over by a particular piece of equipment was in the 70's, when I heard the KLH Model 9 electrostatics in the system of Rosario Mazzeo, who had been a clarinetist in the BSO during the Munch years before he moved out to Carmel Valley in California for his retirement. He played us a recording of a Bartok String Quartet - again, I was just amazed. It just sounded so real, compared to what I'd heard on any system up until then.
