Many a horn owner have been grateful to utilize that to maintain full horn topology without the need to tear out the wall and part of the foundation to build FLH subwoofers
Also that design was gravitated to by the " no such thing as too much/ too low" in the DIY home theater circles.
I definitely place it in horn sub category of which I have found to be hard to beat.
