But the rotary is essentially non existent. And while the horn may be great, a real horn that goes down to the 20s is so huge it almost has to be built into the house like John Crabbe, the editor of Hi Fi News did in the 1970s.
And sorry I have a 5.25 cubic foot box with 18" drivers and it was designed as a Bessel function ported box or as a closed box. And it's a great ported box. It goes lower than the closed format but it's easy to tell the bass quality of the closed version is the winner. But the ported box is more 'musical' if less informative.
