It would partly depend on how large your room is, if it is not big, a sealed sub could provide the only free lunch in audio, bass extension because of room gain down low.
On the other hand, for the same box volume, a vented alignment can produce around 6 dB (4x) more sound BUT has a faster roll off below that..
The bottom response shape also dictates the time response (being minimum phase) so that will end up being what your room and the speakers do.
Personally, having built some of each, i would say IF you can go with a low tuned sealed alignment in a smallish room, you will hear what's there way below the box corner F. This room gain slope is how a 50Hz sealed box in a car, can produce strong bass at 10Hz...if the windows are rolled up.
