RE: Colouration vs neutrality at discomfort volume threshold

What about electronic music and its highs? If not so much upper harmonics, what about 80db and differing tolerances in other frequencies?

Near comfortable/discomfort thresholds do you not think people's biology could have differing hard wired EQ db tolerances, where a neutral EQ becomes a bit of a seesaw at a person's maximum comfortable volume?
