I have a friend building horns(except for the bass, doesn't have the room) who is huge on measurements and what he has shown me is very impressive. Unfortunately he lives too far away. I would love to audition them. I wish there were a full horn system including bass near by to audition. I am huge on dynamic linearity(not just high level, low distortion sound) but linear loudness level changes from micro to midi to macro. I believe that a speaker that does this well will come the closest to making a good recording sound 'real'. And I do suspect, if someone can make a great horn speaker that will do a superb job at one I'm looking for. Unfortunately I don't expect to see that speaker nor could I afford it nor fit it in my apartment.
