On-line, direct sellers? Maybe.
Recall the huge kerfuffle when PSAudio decided to go direct. Attended RMAF 2019 where dealers were bad-mouthing Paul within earshot/eyeshot of his room. Likely a business-saving decision for him. Not sure others will be so lucky, especially the smaller ones.
Then there is the ever-rising 'direct sale' Asian producers. Who here hasn't read posts about those GREAT Chinese DACs?
Speaker manufacturers? Hard to know. A lot of them have off-shored part of their production while still assembling here. Can't imagine doing a five figure purchase of speakers via the net butI did purchase my Joseph Audio 'Pulsars' over the phone from Jeff Joseph directly, as he has no distributor in New Mexico. At least I had heard them at shows over the years, but still, pretty risky mover for a high four figure speaker.
