I understand an am glad to see you are not in denial. I must say Tom's idea to lend them is interesting and gets my vote. You can see what it is like to be without them yet claim them back at anytime if you can't stand being without them.
I had an Eico HFT-90 FM, HFT-94 AM and the MX-99 multiplexor in mint condition. I live where FM is a no go for many reasons and they sat unused in my attic. I sold them all to one guy and only got hamfest money like $200 and I don't regret it. I do regret selling my HF-60 pair and their tubes separately even though I got them free and made almost $2.5K back around 2000 on eBay.
