Need Help

As previously written I am downsizing and have really thinned out my stash and come up pretty much with my 2 final systems, a small but great sounding main downstairs and an upstairs system for use when I get too weak to negotiate the stairs. I have a cassette initial on the main system I will move upstairs when I get too weak to go down but will lose the use of my turntable.

Here is my problem. I still have some pieces that are excess and they will not be used in either. One of the pieces is sort of special while the others not so much; either personally or as a unit. I have decided there is no reason to keep them. Someone wants to buy some of the pieces and in the past he and I have always come up with a price fair to both of us. He is not a flipper and enjoys much of what I do. He knows I have decided these pieces and has asked several times for me to figure out a price. I am finding excuses not to price them and realize now my mind and heart are fighting. My mind says sell while my heart subtly says keep.

Now, if I were not irretrievably ill, my heart would win without question. If I were financially strapped, my mind would prevail but, neither are fact. I want these units to go to someone who will appreciate it and use it. It makes me feel good to know the persons buying so far all have been enjoying them. If I do not sell, then when sold as part of the estate settlement, who knows what will happen to them.

What should I do? And why?
