I'm gonna ask CJ about this upgrade from MV-50 to MV-52; thx for mentioning this option. About using non-matched tubes, I understand that this works pretty well with this amp. About sending my amp in for repair, the CJ technician discouraged me, saying that mostly they would just dust, clean the circuit board, and check a few electrical signals. Made me feel like I'd be wasting my time, cuz he was near certain (as was another CJ technician) that this was a mere 'tube' problem. Well I'm gonna call CJ again, and ask about this upgrade to MV-52 ... If other MV-50 users have had repair problems, there has to be someone at CJ that knows about it. Thx again.
