I think that mixing power tube brands is probobly not the recommended thing to do in an amp.It kind of goes against better judgement...I'm sure that the people at C-J would definately frown on this approach BUT......The combo sounds great!I actually got the idea from guys who have been doing this in guitar amps for years.I've never seen a guitar amp blow tubes or blow anything whatsoever.So.......I figured I'd try it.Why not?I
've been doing this ever since with my C-J.Since it has individual bias adjustment pots for each power tube,I figured that there would not be any problems.There hasn't been.The combo works real well in my system and set-up.
Any thoughts?
