Yep, the longest lived tubes in my CJ MV50 were Phillips and Sovteks. Had Mullards too, ... for less than a month. But I'm having a problem facing reality here... I can't visualize sending my amp 5000 miles to North Carolina in the hands of UPS. I'd really like to find reasonably priced service somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area where I live. Any ideas? In the meantime, here is a true story. Six years ago I lived in a an apartment building in Berkeley CA which caught fire late one evening. I had seconds to gather my wits and belongings and run out of the building. Next thing I remember, I found myself out on the street in my pajamas with my most precious possession ... my CJ amp. True story!
