....Conrad Johnson advise that you use a particular brand of tube, then doncha think it would be wise to follow their suggestion?Some time ago, I serviced an Audio Research. After much hair pulling and teeth gnashing, I finally contacted AR and was advised to use ONLY Sylvania NOS tubes. I did so, at huge cost and the difficulties dissappeared.
