Back in the late 1970 and early 1980s, when I first got into stereos, I just wanted to have the best system I could, because I wanted to listen to my music loud and clear with deep base, etc.
I thought the equipment was cool, but I didn't consider it a hobby really. I mean, how can buying products, or listening to music, be a hobby unto itself??
Those days likely won't return, but with all of us Asylees pursuing this as a hobby, we seem to be supporting a lot of companies putting out great product and relatively affordable prices.
