Hi,
I was 17 when I headed to college in 1964 with a Heathkit reel stereo recorder I built that summer. Next year I built an Eico ST 70 amp and a pair of Knight speakers. A Garrard TT rounded out the system, which was traded for an AR XA turntable later that year. I was in heaven until I heard some McIntosh and HK Citation equipment. I bought a used Citation II in the spring of 68. Other amps have come and gone but the Citation II, and later acquired Citation I are keepers! Throw in the recent McShane rebuild kits for The Citation II and it is the amp they can play at my funeral/wake.
