When I purchased Saras of America Model 11 speakers and a Grace F-9E phono cartridge...... And first knew about the magazine, The Absolute Sound......
Prior to that, I was heavily into audio, but didn't know there was a "high-end"..... I was first into audio around age 8 (give or take a couple years), and prior to that initial high-end exposure, I thought the ultimate in audio was Yamaha receivers, JBL speakers, direct drive turntables, and Shure cartridges............
