If he's had any problems with it, you'll inherit them. I guess a better question is to ask whether YOU would be able to fix this DIY unit and is it really worth the effort.Just a note: I have a LOT of "hot-rodded" amps sitting around, just for spare parts. What some ppl have done to classic units is truly a sin.
