RE: Should I Be Wary of Buying a DIY Amp?

Be sure you try it out first. You're probably buying at your own risk as the individual seller probably will not offer any guarantees, -so make sure you really love it. DIY's usually do not have any re-sale value unless it's one of the classics like Dynaco, Heath, or Eico. The fortunate thing about it is your not spending much, but consider it yours forever, unless your willing to give it away. (If his asking price is $150, I would counter the offer of maybe $100.00)
