The trouble for me is that I really like music. When I have something that plays loud enough, is dynamic and has a wide frequency range I stop playing around with it and listen to music. For the past 6 months I have been listening to a 30 year old HK 330i receiver, and old Adcom CD and Klipsh Quartet speakers. They make music and my ears have adapted to it and my $20,000 system upstairs hardly ever gets turned on.
