I can never find anything when I look. My wife always tells me I should look for things like a woman does, as she usually finds my missing items. I swear I can look six times all around the house, get up in the middle of the night to go check some nook or cranny in the basement that came to me in a dream and not find what I'm looking for. My wife will go over the ground that I thought I had covered and come up with the item most of the time.
Strangely enough though I found my lock-back knife that I searched for high and low all over my house on my daughter's computer desk in her condo. She sheepishly said that it was great to use when eating her lunch at university or work!
So sometimes there is a crime behind those mysteries...
