True. I don't have the UK releases but I have had (past tense) access to listening to direct transfers of a few of the masters. The 45RPMS can be good or bad of course. Same goes with the 33 1/3's

FWIW, many of the UK released (and European/Asian) of plenty of works (CD) are different masterings and better quality than the crap pawned off on the U.S. It would seem that the U.S. is quickly becoming the cesspool for the dumping of poor quality products. Just my o.
