"Audio started out as the publication of the Audio Engineering Society." Not really.

The original mag was Audio Engineering. Then when the AES was formed shortly later, the confusion was recognized and the consumer magazine became simply Audio.

PS Last year I heard a *really fine system* with five (!) Ohm F's, Rowlands behind the wheel. Can't say if the fellow read any mags...
