While your system is highly modified from companies that I'm familiar w/ (Denon especially). However, wanna know what's kinda wierd? I'm currently lisenting to Little Creatures by the Talking Heads on vinyl and I don't remember it sounding this good w/ details that I've not experienced before that I'm aware of. The wierd thing is that my table is a rather modest (read really modest) 15 year old Kenwood semi automatic TT w/ el cheapo AT cart. While there is still improvements to be made (like possibly a better cart), I do have it isolated on a piece of granite and that's sitting on dense black foam and that has made a huge difference in the details and spacing.
Now mind you, I had been listening to that album on a cassette that I made from the CD that I got from the library. Made it on my dad's system, an old Sansui 4000 series receiver from 1971 and a Sony CDP from 1986 and a Technics cassette deck from that period as well. Like I said, don't remember hearing the details at all... :-)
John.
