Just to clarify, I'm assuming your cables have soldered connections which would make swapping connectors a bit of a pain?
Reason I ask is that I just swapped the spade connections on my Kimber Select KS-3035 for stackable bananas which were very reasonably priced on ebay and very quick to fix.
