First real stereo from 1981 - 1985...
* SAEII integrated amplifier 70wpc
* Monster Cable
* Conesuear (I have absolutely no idea how to spell this! Aurgh!) turntable, belt-driven, heavy platter, cheap base fully manual, came with a unipiviot tonearm
* some cheap grado mc cartridge
* two protractors - the plastic Dennison and the db protractor (with the Enid L. awl tweak)
* Mordant Short Festival II 2/way bookshelves with teak veneer
* 3-D Acoustics passive subwoofer
* No tuner
* A Sony hifi betamax and a jvc hifi vhs
* Teac cassette deck - auto reverse (yuck); had dolbyb,c and dbx
* Had an add-on dbx thingie that plugged into my Aiwa walkman to decode my dbx-encoded cassettes (pumping and breathing, yes!)Only survivors are the Mordant Shorts.
Currently...
* Bryston BP-25C pre-amp
* Bryston ST-3B power amp
* Rotel RCD991
* B&W CMD7SE (I have a trade up option until next August)
* The second to the cheapest Transparent IC's and BiWire speaker cables.
* Varied isolation tweaks, rugs nailed to the walls, towel thrown over the TV, carefully placed throw pillows, etc...-m
