I have been waiting to move house so have been reluctant to reterminate my Kimber 8tc and 4tc until I know whats going on...
But in the interim... so I have been cheating.
My local friendly dealer showed me how he got around this, he had a stack of QED airloc plugs lying around, spade type, and Banana plugs slide very snug and secure into the uncrimped cable hole... so it works very well for me as a work around.
Might not be the best way but sounds fine, a quick spray of conact cleaner to make sure everything is clean.
