Overall build quality was fine. The same could be said of the Crown D-150 amp I used with it at the time. That system driving double Advents (with Microstatic tweeter array) was used at the 1974 Miss RHS Talent Show held in the gym. During setup, I inadvertently shorted the outputs of the Crown with a screwdriver, lightly welding it to the binding posts. It shut down. After yanking the screwdriver off the posts, I powered up the amp and all was well!Of those components I used in high school, I still have an Ariston RD-11s turntable. Though the purchase of a VPI table retired it from active duty a while back, I recently bought an SME arm and Shure cartridge off ebay to restore it to its original state. It now has a place in my vintage system feeding restored and tweaked double New Advents.
