I don't read negativity or antagonism in the original post. Apparently you do, because you seem to have a "cause" and see it, i.e., the original post, as a challenge to your point of view. Me, I'm just a happy idiot who employs tubes (preamp), solid state (amp), and hybrid (SACD/CD player) because that particular combination sounds right to me and gives me the greatest pleasure. I don't care what you use to accomplish the same goal nor would I be presumptuous enough to tell you what is right or wrong.
