Good point...But maybe... Turntables? Klipschhorns or LaScala?
I am willing to bet that a pair of 40 year old Klipschorns with a refurbished Dynaco 70, Scott, Eico, or old 2a3 amp would sound better than 95% of the systems being sold today.
