The preamp would be of order someday soon, but I would start by simply getting a Dynaco ST70, see if you like it, (it is a rendition of the tube direction)a good used one is fairly inexpensive. You can always trade up, once you decide this is the direction to go. Their are a lot of very decent examples out there under 500.00 .
