That wavelength halves logarithmically as the frequency rises, so at about 80 Hz, the sound waves become smaller than the human head.

The wavelength reduces linearly as the frequency rises
wavelength = (speed of sound) / frequency, so @ 80Hz
wavelength = 344 / 80 = 4.3m (14.1 ft)
