1) My intention was to give fellow inmates an easily accessible resource to help educate family members, friends, co-workers, etc. who are considering a purchase of Bose. Should these folks go ahead with their purchase of Bose, at least they will have had the opportunity and encouragement to consider alternatives.2) I have similar gripes against any corporation that uses elements other than product quality and price to sell their products. For example, I also abhor General Motors, especially for waving the flag throughout the 1980s to sell some of the worst-designed and most poorly built vehicles in history rather than compete head-to-head with Japan, Germany, etc. on price and quality. Those poor louts, such as my parents-in-law, who bought the patriotic line not only got a sh*tty car, they got ripped off and so in fact were punished for their otherwise-noble "Buy America First" sentiment.
My ultimate beef is against any company that essentially uses marketing clout to brainwash the easily duped American public into buying inferior products, and only hope I am but one beacon of reason against the dark clouds of ignorance.
