Actually, number 1 is every single point Dalancroft deftly poited out. Number 2 is that Bose has done such an excellent job of advertising and marketing, which has literally brainwashed the non-audiophile public. I personally think their products sound bad and some of their premises are just plain silly. But, when I try to persuade a friend or colleague, (who has their mind set on Bose) to audition other speakers, they refuse. If Bose thinks their products are so great, why don't they do their silly show at Circuit City stores with AB comparisons with similarly priced brands? Does anyone think the little Bose speaker would sound better than, say, a NHT model at the same price range?
