And I was trying to be VERY generous with parts costs, including the "twisty" cabinets, manual, box, etc. etc. etc. You're right, it's probably closer to $20.My one experience with Blose -- my wife and I rented a house in Kauai for a week. It came with a Bose 5.1 speaker set (AM-6 maybe? Single cubes, not the double ones.) Like you, I've never heard such sh*tty sound in my life. Thin, mechanical, unnatural and screechy. Bleccch.
